Poor Johnny has some problem, he doesn’t even have both hands now that isn’t very good at all. He tries looking for jobs but either no one is looking for employment or they see his hand and totally reject him. That isn’t very nice! When he goes into Mr. Hancock’s and they only reject him because he can’t rite good at all and they cant live with that!!!! That makes me soooo mad. He would be able to rite if his hand wasn’t hurt but that’s not the point. And if he could it wouldn’t be call a disability. That makes sense. That would also ruin the book, so I guess the author is just trying to set up a story line at the very beginning. So you will be happy at the end. At least I hope that it is good at the end. I really do.
